Nintendo reimagined the original 1986 Metroid using Fusion's modern toolkit: a map, new bosses, and an epilogue where Samus, unarmed and in her Zero Suit, has to infiltrate a pirate ship using nothing but stealth. It was the first time the series told its origin story through visual narrative. As an archaeological bonus, the cartridge includes the complete, unlockable NES Metroid: past and present crammed into 32 megabits.
