Sega's founding 8-bit platformer: Alex Kidd punches through blocks, rides motorbikes and helicopters, and settles boss fights with a game of rock-paper-scissors. It came built into many consoles, which made it the entry point for an entire generation, especially in Europe and Brazil. Sega's mascot before Sonic ever existed.
